This week (5-9\/12\/12 I am working with a great group in the dance\u00a0space, La Porta, in Barcelona to create a Reality Creation Kit.

We have brought together a dream team of creators with performances\u00a0and seminarios that contribute to a space of collective creation where\u00a0individual components are assembled to create a reality generating\u00a0circuit, digging quantum escape tunnels from a reality that has\u00a0nothing more to do with us.

La Porta is one of the most interesting groups in Barcelona working\u00a0around the performing arts, or, as they put it “contemporary creation\u00a0around the body, as well as creating the proper conditions for the\u00a0emission-reception of works, processes and knowledge generated by\u00a0these practices.” This year they worn the National Dance Prize of Catalunya.<\/p>\n

They are now publishing an incredible book + 3DVD pack, via a Verkami\u00a0crowdfunding, on the 3 years of their “Nits Salvajes” series, the best\u00a0of contemporary creation in Barcelona. . Only 20 euros to reserve your\u00a0copy !

Part of the reason that they asked me to participate is because of my\u00a0involvement in the Mov_i_Ment3 booksprint in La Caldera, another dance\u00a0space in Barcelona, in the Gracia neighbourhood. We worked together\u00a0for a week last July 2012 with a diverse team to create a book on the\u00a0relation between performing arts, society and neighbourhoods. Another important inspiration for the Reality Creation Kit is the\u00a0Transhackerfeminist Oscillator Kit, collectively conceived and built\u00a0between August and October 2012 in the Summerlabs in Galicia and\u00a0Portugal.<\/p>\n
